The colours and finishes are a perfect fit with your decor and you’re happy with your decision. However, you just can’t shake the feeling that you’ve forgotten something and you're right! What about the designer valves? We have a huge range of designer valves and accessories in different styles and finishes. They can really complete the look of your radiator and tie in your desired style with the rest of the room. If you're in the market for a new radiator then we would recommend that you also consider replacing your valves. Whether you want to make a statement, or let them blend in seamlessly, we’ve got a few options of our favourites to help you find the perfect designer valves.
TRV or Manual?
There are two types of radiator valves. Manual valves open and close manually, as you would expect. Thermostatic radiator valves (TRV) use a sensor to open the valve and is dependent on heat. TRV's are designed to help maintain a constant room temperature or allow the user to set a different temperature in various rooms. They do this by adjusting the amount of water or hot water flow through the radiator itself. One of the benefits of a TRV is that they can help you save money on your heating bills. Both types of valves are sold in straight and angled styles. Which one you order will depend on where the pipework is originating from. All of our valves can be used on most traditional radiators. Please check with your plumber first and ensure that the valves you choose are compatible with your radiator.
Bentley Gothic Radiator Valve
As the name suggests, this is one of our more ornate valves. The Bentley Gothic Valve has a more intricate design that is available in a few different finishes including Antique Brass (as seen above), Antique Copper, Black Nickle and Silver Nickle. Although delicate in design, the valve still makes for a luxurious statement in an understated manor. This designer valve looks great against darker colours if you want to recreate that gothic period style. It adds a decadent flair to any column radiator installation. We recommend pairing with our Hammered Gold or Hammered Volcanic radiator finishes.
Bentley Bold Radiator Valves
A more contemporary option, the Bentley Bold range of valves come in a lovely range of colours and finishes. The unique handle is sleek and compact, giving a subtler look with optimum comfort. The Bentley Bold Valves are very versatile and can work with more classic or contemporary styles of room, dependent on the colour choice and finish. We offer some beautiful finishes including; Silver Nickle, Black Nickle, Antique Brass and Black Gloss. These valves pair brilliantly with our Raw Metal finish.
Bentley Manual Radiator Valves
This is more of a statement valve which works well in more classic or period styled home. We find they’re very popular in home renovation projects, especially in homes of an older era like Victorian or Edwardian. They are a modern twist on a more vintage style. The Bentley Manual Valves can add a fun and interesting feature whilst maintaining the functionality of a radiator valve.
